1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Aethyrix website and its tools, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

Aethyrix provides a collection of free web-based tools covering personal finance, career planning, health and wellness, productivity, and other areas of daily life. The Service includes:

• Free tools accessible without an account
• Optional account features for saving preferences and data (via Supabase Auth)
• Optional paid features, where available, processed via Stripe
• Educational content and guides

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

Accounts on Aethyrix are entirely optional. If you choose to create an account:

• You must provide a valid email address and maintain accurate account information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately at hello@aethyrix.com if you suspect unauthorized access
• You may not create accounts for others without their consent or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Aethyrix only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service without our written permission
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service in ways that burden our infrastructure
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any part of the Service for commercial purposes without prior written consent
• Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users or third parties

5. Intellectual Property

The Aethyrix name, logo, website design, content, and software (excluding third-party components) are the intellectual property of Aethyrix and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Modify or create derivative works based on our content or software
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent
• Redistribute or commercially exploit our content without permission

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by Aethyrix without obligation to you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We expressly disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Important notice regarding tool outputs: All tools on Aethyrix — including financial calculators, salary estimators, health trackers, career tools, and any other calculators — provide results for informational and educational purposes only. Tool outputs are:

• Not financial advice. Consult a licensed financial advisor before making financial decisions.
• Not medical or health advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.
• Not legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for legal matters.
• Not career or professional advice. Results are estimates based on general data and may not reflect your specific circumstances.

We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any tool output. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AETHYRIX AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Damages resulting from your reliance on information or tool outputs from the Service
• Any financial decisions made based on our calculators or tools

IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have an account, you may request account deletion by emailing hello@aethyrix.com.

Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, and 13 will survive termination of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide prominent notice on our website or via email to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property rights.

Nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to exclude or limit your consumer rights under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aethyrix regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
