Aethyrix (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at aethyrix.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information you provide
- Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter or create an account. We never sell email addresses.
- Account information — if you create an optional account, we store your email and encrypted authentication tokens via Supabase Auth.
Information collected automatically
- Tool preferences and inputs — saved in your browser’s localStorage to restore your last session. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you are signed in.
- Usage data — page views, clicks, session duration, and referral source collected through Google Analytics. This data is anonymized and aggregated.
- Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address (anonymized) used for analytics and security purposes.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation data, or biometric data. Financial inputs entered into our calculators are processed locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you explicitly save them.

3. Data Storage — Supabase
If you create an account or save data, your information is stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. 4. Third-Party Services
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data. Google may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google AdSense
We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads.
Stripe
If you purchase any paid features, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store your payment card information on our servers. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

We retain your information for the following periods:
- Account data — retained for the life of your account, plus 30 days after deletion
- Newsletter subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data — retained for 26 months per Google Analytics default configuration
- Server logs — retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes
10. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information using commercially reasonable means.
11. International Data Transfers
Our services are operated in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.
